Hey Anna!
I've met very skilled professionals who have low confidence.
Because they are telling themselves toxic words.
Here's an exercise:
Identify the two words that can make (or break) your career:
➡️ "I CAN’T"
You feel down and hopeless.
You’ve given up even before trying or believe there’s no solution to your challenges.
➡️ "I MIGHT"
You feel like giving it a try but you doubt yourself, therefore you’re not committed.
At this stage, you’ll consume motivational content vs use a proven strategy.
➡️ "I WILL"
You feel hopeful and want to improve your current career situation.
You’re willing to put in the effort but can feel overwhelmed by the tons of advice out there that may slow down your progress.
➡️ "I AM"
You’re putting in your time, effort and energy super committed to getting yourself results at work.
At this stage, you might be searching for more effective strategies to get you better results, faster.
➡️ "I DID!"
Yay, you did it, finally!
Growth is uncomfortable but the results are worth it.
You believe in yourself and know that confidence comes from competence and taking real action!
My question to you:
What are the two words you’re telling yourself today?
So Anna, what's your two-word?
With love, Mei Phing
