Did you buy anything on Black Friday weekend?
Was it an investment or a splurge?
Here's an interesting definition to help you out:
Splurge: Avoiding pain.
Investment: Avoiding growth.
I've been using these definitions to help me decide how to get the best bang for my buck!
For example, I don't have any video creation skills.
I'm an accountant by training, not a YouTuber =/
Splurge: Buying myself spa sessions to avoid thinking about something I'm not skilled at (I've stopped doing this in 2022).
Investment: Finally purchasing that 1:1 consultation session to learn from an expert and get my doubts answered.
On this Cyber Monday week, I hope you don't follow in my past footsteps.
Avoiding pain is only for the short term.
It's temporarily high.
When you come crashing down, it's not pretty.
Don't let 2023 be a repeat of 2022.
BLACK FRIDAY CONTINUES INTO CYBER MONDAY.
Free 1:1 career consultation call (60 minutes) when you enroll in The Corporate Survivor - Career Training & Mentoring course.
So Mp, see you soon? :)
