Hey Anna!
Hope is a feeling of trust.
Hope is wanting something to happen.
Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire.
Notice something lacking in the definition?
Yup, it's action in the right direction.
"Hope is not a strategy" is one of my favourite quotes.
I'm also sure that you've heard of this quote:
Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.
Being hopeful is a good thing.
But it should be at the right timing.
Specifically, after you've put in your "preparation effort".
That's learning about the corporate world.
That's applying the right career confidence skills.
That's taking consistent actions to create career growth opportunities.
Then, it's the perfect time to be hopeful.
Because you know you've put in the work.
You're now truly ready.
So Anna, are you hopeful? :)
With love,
Mei Phing xx
