This morning I woke up to a bizarre message.
Someone said to me:
"Mei Phing, you're a career coach."
"So, that means you should always side with the employee."
"I understand your advice but why are you not bashing the company."
If this is how you think about your career: A war. A fight.
Then, we have a real problem.
Because you're not understanding a fundamental concept.
Employment is a two-way relationship.
It means that there is always a choice.
Whether you're brave enough to stand up for yourself.
Or, making a big career move is a different story.
And, that's what I'm here for :)
Clients and students I work with are making things happen in the real world.
They're learning how to navigate the corporate world.
Adapting and performing at their workplaces.
If you're following me, I'm going to take a guess that you're not about drama.
But, you're ALL about taking charge of your career.
Learning how to make the right choice for YOU.
And, that's the biggest gift I can give you...
Use it for many years to come!
So, Friend, I hope you're here with me for the long haul :)
